Vessels Lines Looped

Rapid growth
Looped vessels are usually easy to recognise. The vessels turn on themselves in the shape of a hairpin. Sometimes they can be surrounded by a whitish halo and this feature is seen in keratinising tumours such as SCC, keratoacanthoma and Seb K. In Seb K the hairpin vessels are usually grouped together and are mainly found at the periphery of the tumour. Histologically they correspond to long capillary loops
